Nutrition - Why eating little and often is the way to go.
If you want more energy, easier weight loss, and a better digestion, eating little and often really is the way to go!
By simply swapping 3 meals a day for 5-6 smaller meals, this alone can fire up your metabolism, reduce snacking and can lead to better overall health.
Do you measure your heart rate when you exercise? We think you should, but not for every workout you do.
I bet you know pretty much what you need to do to get that bit fitter, lose the extra few pounds, and get back into your favourite clothes. It's simple isn't it? Eat less, move more, don't eat for 2 days, eat normally for 5, eat 6 meals a day, oh hang on, it's not that simple!
Simply by being 'present' when you eat can have a big impact. Thinking about every mouth full, not re loading until your mouth is empty, putting your knife and fork down in between, and then making a conscious decision whether you want to pick it up back up again. If you are calm, relaxed, and aware of your food choices, you will instantly be in a better position to improve your body composition. Remind yourself why you are eating all the delicious healthy foods, and what that will mean to you. Next time you are about to eat, make sure you are doing only that one thing. No phone checking, TV watching, just sit back, listen to some music and be present.
