Swing Low, Sweet Fitness

You see, most of the time I train for health, to feel better, mental clarity, and of course Vanity! (I'm only human)
 
But some weeks, and this week is one of them, my weeks exercise has been to justify a few drinks this weekend for the Rugby! 

You see life is too short! It's all in the balance. I live my week by the 80/20 rule, as long as I am eating well 80% of the time, I can enjoy 20% where I am not as strict as usual. 
The key to making this work is to make sure you don't let that night out influence the following day. It's never really the night out that kills progress, it's the full english breakfast & ice cream the next day, with no exercise. It's the sluggish monday which leads to a week of sub par exercise. 
 
if you want to go out, have a dinner with some friends, or watch 30 rugby players crash into each other whilst having a few beers, do it! Just make sure you do the work, and that you have trained hard in the week, and you can get back on the wagon the next day. 
 
So go on, enjoy your weekend, & we will see you on Monday for Boot Camp!
