Email Filing
Keep your conversations and important messages in order by using the filing system on your gmail system.
If using gmail, on the left hand side of the screen, you will see Create New Labels, or they can sometimes be called folders in other mail systems.
Create as many labels/folders as you need to. The benefit is then if you need to find something about a client, or company, you simply click on their folder and see all historic conversations.
We recommend using some of the following folders: Boot Camp, PAYG, Accounts, Invoices, Trainers, Member Queries, Free Trials, Marketing, Personal Training. Assess your emails as they come in, and create a folder to match that type of email.
If you’re using something like outlook or mac mail, you can set up something called ‘rules’. So you could set up a rule where, every time you get an email containing the words ‘personal training’ this would go into your personal training folder.
Clear your emails daily, moving everything into it’s rightful place.
